The Spring Creek Campus (SCC) opened in fall 1988 and is located at the intersection of Jupiter Road and Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Spring Creek’s many core offerings include classes in fine arts, communications and humanities, business and computer science, mathematics and natural sciences, and the social sciences.
The facility houses the Honors Institute, 30,000 square-foot Arts Gallery, the 356-seat John Anthony Theatre and Brinker Tennis Stadium. The Spring Creek Campus was recently expanded to include general-purpose classrooms, adding space for high tech training and science labs, a state-of-the-art dance studio, general-purpose classrooms, new faculty offices and a training/conference center.
The campus's academic specialties include fine arts, communications and humanities, and mathematics and natural sciences. SCC is also the focal point of Collin's fine arts, with the Blackbox Theatre, John Anthony Theatre, Spring Creek Art Gallery and the Dance Repertory. These campus venues offer a constant array of theatre productions, repertoire films, art exhibits and other special engagements
